Master McGinnis was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and has lived there all of his life except for a short time in central Florida, where he attended Central Florida Community College and graduated in 1980 with a degree in Computer Science.
Master McGinnis started learning Tae kwon do at the age 18. Since then he has raised 2 children and continued with the study of taekwondo. He joined Grand Master Choi’s school in 1995, earning his 1st Dan in 1998. He has spend the last 17 years helping Grandmaster Choi’s school. By instructing students in all aspects of taekwondo Master McGinnis is currently a 5th Dan Master in taekwondo.
In 2006 Master McGinnis and Ms. Debbie Dillon another student of Grandmaster Choi’s opened Lone Wolf Taekwondo. He is co-owner operator and teaches traditional taekwondo as Grandmaster Choi taught him. Lone Wolf Taekwondo is located on the westside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
