All children deserve Master Level Instruction with our caring teachers. Grand Master Min Choi takes pride in personally teaching the kid classes. He doesn’t pass this responsibility off on an underqualified student like many other martial arts schools do. Grand Master Choi believes child classes need the best instruction possible because they are the future of our art.
Choi’s Martial Arts Academy is the oldest Taekwondo school in Indiana. Grand Master Choi also earned recognition from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Headquarters for his instruction of Police Officers. Master Na Young An, a former Korean National Team member, holds a specialized degree in teaching Tae Kwon Do to children which is a tremendous asset to our children’s program. Master David Young Choi is a second-generation Master Instructor. He’s been teaching at his family Academy for nearly two decades. He also holds a teaching degree from Indiana University and has nearly a decade of experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
Kids learn differently than adults and we give them differentiated instruction to help them be the best martial artist and person they can be.
Bring your child to Choi’s Martial Arts Academy and we will evaluate your child’s ability and readiness to join our training program for free. Grand Master Choi has been teaching children longer than any other instructor in Indiana.
During his years, Grand Master Choi and his certified black belts have developed the patience, gentleness, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of the teaching methodologies that are most effective for children.
