Grandmaster Min Hae Choi

Grandmaster Min Hae Choi, a 9th Degree Black Belt, has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for over 55 years in Indianapolis. Born in Busan, South Korea, he trained at the prestigious Ji Do Kwan Academy before establishing Indiana’s first Tae Kwon Do school in 1971. His dedication has impacted over 5,000 students.

Mr. David Young Choi, a 6th Dan Taekwondo Black Belt, brings over 30 years of martial arts experience to Choi Martial Arts Academy. Trained since age 4 and educated at Yong In University in South Korea, Mr. Choi is also a seasoned public-school teacher with 7 years of experience, specializing in working with children and those with special needs.

Master Na Young An

Master Na Young An, an acclaimed Tae Kwon Do expert, began training at her father’s martial arts academy in South Korea at age 5. A former member of the Korean Tiger Demonstration team and 2000 Summer Olympics performer, she brings elite experience to Choi Martial Arts Academy, where she teaches Tae Kwon Do, Hapki Do, knife defense, and staff fighting.
